I have a Dell Optiplex 3020, downloaded the iso for Windows 7 Home Premium, modified it to match the laptop specs. I put it on a USB stick formatted as FAT32 and it boots, and I can see the familiar Windows 7 screen and icons. I’ve formatted the stick to NTFS as well, and it still boots. However, it doesn’t detect my SATA internal hard drive, and I can’t install from there. I’ve tried the F6 options, and selected IDE (as the first option), then tried both IDE and ACHI. No joy.
Hello, I have a few question. I download the files for the Windows ISO. I am running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. I downloaded it to my flash drive using UltraISO. I tried to boot on it, but nothing happens. I can boot on my flash drive and download it to my flash drive, but why won’t it boot on my flash drive? I also tried it a few times. I did get into the boot menu, but it is not booting. The only thing I have on my drive is the ISO and my flash drive. Can anyone please help me? I have looked everywhere on the internet. I really can’t figure out what I am doing wrong.
I’m thinking that the problem might be with the SATA setting, as that’s the only option that works. I’m trying to install Windows for dual booting with Linux Mint. When I boot from the USB stick, I get the familiar Windows loading screen and icons. As soon as it says loading drivers, I get the error message: “Error loading operating system…” It doesn’t recognize my SATA internal hard drive. I’m wondering if I need to install on IDE and select the SATA option at the last second, and if that’s the problem.
guys, thank u, i really appreciate your help, but i have a problem. I have a HP PC laptop and i have a problem that i cant install it on my USB flash drive. I need to change my BIOS setting to USB first, but i cant find it. How to do it?
1) download WINUSB-16.1.0.1.zip to your PC. (if WinUSB-16.1.0.0.x is not ok, try with the new one)2) copy WINUSB-16.1.0.1.zip to a USB drive. For example, I use a hard disk. 3) Extract the contents of WINUSB-16.1.0.1.zip to the USB drive, and replace the files of WINUSB-16.1.0.0.0.boot.wim. 4) Change the Boot priority of USB drive to Hard Disk firstly. 5) Open USB drive and start the setup as usual. Once the welcome screen will appear, press and hold F12. Notice the BIOS screen will be displayed. Set Boot from Hard Disk as the first boot device. Press F12 to save and exit to the setup. 6) Now you can install Windows10 after the BIOS screen. 7) Reboot the computer to Windows10 and enjoy.
now i'm having a problem to make a 64bit 7 ultimate from a 32bit xp copy, downloaded from bit-gaming and my keyboard and mouse isn't working.... i don't have a mouse or a keyboard. i'm a complete newbie at coding. how can i figure out what is wrong? or perhaps it's a problem with my keyboard?
It worked for me without a problem, i have a 64bit laptop and all i had to do was to disable the secure boot, and to change the boot order so it boots from the USB. I also have a USB with some files from win7 installed on it, I just had to boot with the USB stick inserted, change the boot priority so it booted with the USB first and then i just ran the win7 installer and it worked! 827ec27edc
